  • Description: Provides assistance to low-income individuals with home weatherization and utility bill payment. Individuals can qualify once a year to receive assistance. Weatherization services include:
    • Heating and gas appliance inspection and repair or replacement
    • On-site home inspection to determine energy losses
    • Installation of energy conservation and heat loss measures
    • Post-work inspection for quality, and safety
    Utility bill assistance is available for individuals one time per program year for income eligible households. Also assists with past-due water or sewer bills. Households do not have to have a shut-off notice or be shut-off to receive assistance.

  • Requirements: Income verification from every adult in the home covering the past 30 days from when they apply; current month's electric and gas bills; wood/propane/kerosene costs if used in the home, clear readable copy of applicants valid ID card.
