• Description: Provides special advocates for children in the juvenile court system. Program recruits, screens, trains and supports volunteers. Volunteers are trained to represent the needs of children in the juvenile system. Also provides advocacy networking with public and private agencies and individuals. Promotes awareness in the community on issues regarding child abuse and neglect. Also acts as a liaison with, and at the direction of, the Juvenile Court Judge.
