UNITY VILLAGE FAMILY EMERGENCY SHELTER, FORD STREET PROJECT

Description: Provides an emergency homeless shelter for families with at least one minor child in their custody. Also provides a vocational program for residents to transition into a new way of living.

Due to capacity limitations applicants may be subject to a waitlist.

Eligibility: Families with at least one minor child in their custody residing in Mendocino County.
Must be free from alcohol and drugs and willing and able to participate in housing, vocational services and able to live peacefully in a close community.
Must be able to perform self-care (such as eating, bathing, dressing, and grooming) without the assistance of a live-in caregiver.
Must also be non-violent, not an arsonist, and not a registered sex offender.
