• Description:

  Operates 24/7 Adult Protective Services hotline to report adult abuse or neglect. Investigates reports of suspected neglect, self-neglect, abandonment, physical, sexual, mental, emotional, or financial abuse. Coordinates emergency response, crisis intervention, and protection from abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Connects clients with community resources. APS has temporary funding for Home Safe. Connects clients who are at risk of homelessness because of abuse, neglect, or self-neglect with case management and housing supports. May include financial assistance to prevent homelessness.
