• Eligibility: Merced County residents
• Requirements: Only one application per household will be accepted. You must not have received rent/mortgage assistance from another local agency this year. Section 8 housing is not eligible. Must have a suitable income to sustain future payments. Rental Agreement (must be current). Ledger (a printout of all rent paid in the last six months). Government-issued ID. Proof of Income (pay stubs, SSI/SSDI, retirement, all documents must be current and dated within the last 30 days). Hardship letter (could be typed or written explaining why you need assistance). PG&E bill (all pages, and it must be the most current bill). All documents must be in the applicant's name. If you have any notices (3-day eviction), please bring them.
