Provides financial assistance for eligible residents to purchase healthy and nutritious foods. Offers three day expedited service for some special emergency situations. Issues Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards with a monthly credit to purchase groceries. EBT cards accepted at participating retailers including grocery stores and farmers markets.
EBT Online Purchases:Click Here CalFresh EBT has extended service for online use at approved retailers. Recipients can purchase eligible groceries at participating stores for delivery and pickup.
Restaurant Meals Program:Click Here CalFresh EBT cards accepted at various locations participating in the Restaurant Meals Program. CalFresh eligible recipients are able to buy prepared meals at participating restaurant vendors. CalFresh recipients experiencing homelessness, with a disability, or age 60 and older eligible.

Eligibility: Legal residents with household size and monthly income up to 200% of Federal Poverty Line
Requirements: Proof of identity (driver's license, etc.), alien status.
Social Security Numbers for all household members.
If employed, proof of income (wage stubs, earning statements, etc.) for the past 30 days.
Bank statements for checking accounts, savings accounts, certificates of deposit, credit union accounts, retirement accounts, stocks, bonds, dividends, etc.
Proof of shelter costs (rent or mortgage payment, lot rent, household, real estate, taxes, utility bills - heat, electricity, water/sewage/garbage, telephone, etc.)
