Description: Offers a Distinguished Veteran Pass which entitles the holder to the use of all basic State Park System operated facilities, including camping and day use, at no further charge.
*Not valid at units operated by local government, private agencies, or concessionaires and it is not valid for special events, group campsites, and commercial use or for supplemental fees. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other pass and/or discount.
Hours: Merced: Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm (evenings by appointment only)
Mariposa: Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00am - 5:00pm
Eligibility: Any honorably discharged war veteran who is a resident of California with a 50% or more service-connected disability, or was held as a prisoner or war by forces hostile to the United States, or recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor.
Requirements: Documentation of service connected disability/Status as former Prisoner of War/Medal of Honor recipient and Driver's License
