Description: Offers aged or disabled veterans with rehabilitative, residential, and medical care and services in a home-like environment. Eight homes are located throughout California.
Hours: Merced: Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm (evenings by appointment only)
Mariposa: Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00am - 5:00pm
Eligibility: Must be a California resident. Must be at least 55 years old, however age requirement is waived for veterans who are disabled or homeless and needing long-term care. Served on active duty on the Armed Forces of the United States, for other than training purposes, during wartime or peacetime. Discharged or released from active duty honorably or under honorable conditions.
Requirements: Proof of military service by submitting a DD 214, or obtaining proof through the US Department of Defense (DOD) or the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (USDVA).
