Description: Provides temporary cash aid to eligible adults with no children. Serves those who do not qualify for other public assistance. Provides: Three months of assistance to eligible, employable adults. Longer-term assistance to eligible adults: Who have a temporary disability Who have a long-term disability and are awaiting Supplemental Security Income (SSI) approval. General Relief assistance is considered a loan and must be repaid.Please note: One can now manage and access benefits with Benefits Cal website.

Eligibility: -Open to adults 18 and up (and emancipated minors under 18) who live in Tehama County-Open to those applying for other forms of continuing support, or who are not eligible for other support-Must have no or low income, and no dependent children
Requirements: -Photo ID/DL-Birth certificate-Immigration status document-Marriage certificate-Military ID-Passport-Social security card or proof of application-Proof of residence or homeless shelter
