Description: Provides immediate emergency response services to those affected by local disasters. Disasters may include house fires, wildfires, floods, winter storms, and earthquakes. Services include: Shelter or Evacuation Center Activation Canteening for first responders of disasters Red Cross Liaison at an ICP or EOC Local Assistance Centers or Family Assistance Centers Client help with home fires Immediate clothing, shoes, and food Emergency lodging Family reunification help Mental Health and coping help Replacement of medications or durable medical equipment lost in a disaster. Examples include glasses, hearing aids, wheelchairs, and more. Advocacy and support through the recovery process. Includes how to file claims for loss and damage reimbursement. Provides information about help with rebuilding.
