  • Description: Provides a transitional living program for homeless adult women and mothers with children. Residents may include: Victims of domestic violence Those who struggle with substance abuse Those who struggle with mental illness Those who are unemployed and lack finances due to our current economy.Residents must be willing to: Assist in household tasks Provide volunteer work in the community Seek housing Do a job search or job training.Provides educational and life skill training classes for residents such as: Parenting classes Gardening and canning Self esteem Quilting Job search workshops Cooking Financial budgeting Limited legal services.The house can hold a total of 15, including children. All bedrooms are upstairs so the house is not accessible for persons using mobility aids. There is a two year maximum stay based on the individuals' needs and issues.
