- Description: Provides support for caregivers in their role of helping Veterans. Offers training, mentoring, educational resources, and a variety of tools. Services include: Caregiver Support Line. Licensed professionals available Mon-Fri, 12 hours a day. They listen, provide support, and connect to resources. Peer Support Mentoring: Opportunity for caregiver mentors and mentees to connect. Building Better Caregivers: Online workshop to build skills and confidence. Caring for Seriously Injured Post-9/11 Veterans: Approved caregiver services. Monthly stipend, travel expenses, health insurance, mental health services, and respite care. REACH VA: Mentoring for Caregivers of Veterans. Helps with stress or mood management and problem-solving. Serves Veterans diagnosed with: ALS, Dementia, MS, PTSD, or Spinal Cord Injury/Disorder.
