- Description: Serves those experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, homelessness. Provides access to supportive services helping with basic needs and referrals to resources. Most services are for all in need, even those not staying at the Shelter. Services include: Assistance with housing through the Coordinated Entry System (CES) to individuals without housingPlace to stay warm in winter or cool in summer Food served daily - Breakfast at 7am-8am, Lunch at 12noon-1pm and Dinner 5pm-6:30pm Limited clothing items Shower facility Daily, 8am-12noon and 1pm-4pm Laundry - 1 load per day per client Hygiene kits - limited supply Lockers Mailing addresses Information and referrals to community resources Case management Housing assessment and referrals Housing navigation Help with accessing benefits Meeting space for agencies.In addition, provides specialized Homeless Prevention Services for those at risk of losing housing. May help client pay what they owe for rent or utilities. This is a one-time support program to help the client recover stability. This program depends on available funding - it is not always available. One must also meet specific eligibility requirements, including: Income at or below 30% of AMIHave a "3-Day Pay or Quit" noticeNo financial means to meet their own needs. Donations are always welcome and appreciated. Items (for all ages) may include: Socks and underwear Coats, rain ponchos, hats and gloves Shirts, sweatshirts, sweats, and jeans Tents, blankets and sleeping bagsFood, coffee Toilet paper and paper towels Water bottles Re-usable grocery bags.
