• Description: Provides a Peer Support program. Serves those experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges. Provides groups and activities supporting mental health and substance use recovery. Any individual or family member are welcome. All services are free to Shasta County residents age 18 and older.Services include: Workshop - Taking Action for Whole Health and Wellbeing Workshops Life skill building classes Peer support Mental Health support groups Substance Use Recovery support groupsSupport group for women survivors of domestic abuse and intimate-partner violence Education and referrals to local resources.Group activities include: Arts & crafts Community buildingSocial engagementPicnics Outings.Note: Offers transportation to and from center.Monthly calendar is available on Sunrise Mountain Wellness Center Facebook.
