Description: Operates Special Education Services for Tehama County school districts. The Individualized Educational Plan team consists of parents/guardians and school personnel. Together, they make decisions about the types of placement or services.Specialized services for students with disabilities include: Deaf and/or hard of hearing services Visual impairment and mobility services Orthopedic services Occupational therapy Physical therapy Adaptive physical education Assistive technology Specialized academic instruction Speech/language therapy Early childhood/preschool intervention and assessment Education-related mental health services Alternative Dispute Prevention and Resolution Services.Please note: Individual school district offices provide special education services.
