• Description: Provides financial assistance to wildfire survivors who are at risk of or are currently experiencing homelessness. They must have identified a housing solution and need financial assistance to pursue or secure it. Serves survivors of the following wildfires: Park FireDixie Fire Mill FireMcKinney Fire Camp Fire Slater Fire (only for survivors needing emergency housing, please contact your Disaster Case Manager)Note: SHOP does not locate housing or provide case management support for securing housing. UWNC offers a variety of services, along with assistance for wildfire survivors. To ensure one receives all the services one needs, please call or complete the survey HERE.
