• Description: Provides personal and domestic services to older adults and individuals with disabilities. Must be Medi-Cal eligible and need help with activities to remain safe in their home. Services provided by IHSS are based on need and may include: Domestic services such as cleaning, meal preparation, and running errands Personal care services such as grooming, bathing, and bowel and bladder needs Accompaniment to medical services Protective supervision.Providers can be family members or friends, or a provider through IHSS.
