• Description: Each year, Project Homeless Connect (PHC) Event provides a free venue. Helps individuals and families who may be facing homelessness or struggling to make ends meet. Designed to be a "one-stop-shop" for those needing critical resources. Hopes to remove barriers and provide access to long-term solutions that help those in high-risk situations. Services include: Free haircuts Hygiene kits Free cell phones Free Durable Medical Equipment (DME) - walkers, wheelchairs, and canes Housing resources Job resources Behavioral health servicesSubstance abuse resourcesDomestic violence resources Social Security and other benefits services Vital records Veteran resources Disability resources Vision checks and glasses Health care services Family planning Children's services Services for pets.In 2025, this event held on Saturday, May 12th, 9am-2pm, at the Redding Civic Auditorium, 700 Auditorium Drive in Redding.
