Description: Provides State-authorized medical marijuana identification cards for those with serious medical conditions. These cards are available to people whose physicians have recommended the use of marijuana. Participation by patients and primary caregivers in the MMICP is voluntary.Offers a registry database for verification of qualified patients and their primary caregivers. The registry allows law enforcement and the public to verify the validity of a qualified patient or primary caregiver's MMICP. Provides authorization to possess, grow, transport, and/or use medical marijuana within California.
