• Description: Provides support for post-adoptive families. Services include support groups, events, education, and training. Also provides adoption-competent mental health services.Free Community Programs (requires RSVP on website):Tween Group - 1st Wednesday of the month for adopted tweens, ages 8-12. Usually held in their community room. Provides snacks and beverages.Teen Event - 3rd Wednesday of the month for adopted teens, ages 13-17. Usually held out in the community. Provides snacks and beverages.Respite Event - Last Saturday of the month for adopted children, ages 4-12. Children need to be potty trained to attend. Held at First Church of the Nazarene. Provides snacks and beverages. Support Groups (requires registration on website): In-person for adoptive parents - 1st Thursday of the month. Meets at Youth and Family Programs. Provides childcare.Zoom meet-up for adoptive parents - 2nd Thursday of the month.In-person for adoptive parents - 4th Wednesday of the month. Meets at Youth and Family Programs. Provides childcare.
