A Public Health registered nurse helps with the following services: Find a healthcare provider Make prenatal appointments Understand Medi-Cal for pregnancy care Enrollment in a temporary Medi-Cal program while waiting on Medi-Cal application Referrals to additional services. This may include WIC, transportation, shelters, substance abuse services, and other medical services.
