Description: RABA Vanpool provides 7-15 passenger vehicles and supportive services to commuters in Shasta County. Program includes: Monthly subsidy per vehicle from RABA The remaining cost will be split among the employer and/or participants, with each vanpool rider paying a flat monthly fee. Month-to-month flexibility. Maintenance, insurance, roadside assistance and emergency ride home are included. Registered vanpool riders are allowed up to 4 "Emergency Rides" per calendar year. How to get started: Gather a group of at least seven individuals to start the vanpool or ask Enterprise to assist in recruiting riders for a new vanpool. The vanpool riders determine the exact route to work, the pick-up times, and the drop-off locations. One primary driver and at least one alternate driver are required.
