Description: Mentoring Youth Through Empowerment (MYTE) provides LGBTQ youth and allies with a safe and affirming space in which they can build community, learn essential life skills, and engage in cultural activities with peers and adult mentors. The program regularly offers workshops and activities, including healthy relationships and sexual health discussions, art space, and sewing lessons, to name a few. In addition to their after-school drop-in space, MYTE also goes on monthly field trips to provide youth with cultural opportunities. Lastly, MYTE also hosts a series of special events, such as our annual youth dance Monster Ball. The group is held digitally during COVID-19.
