Description: YMCA of Greater Whittier offers a safe and healthy place for school-age children to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships, and build self-reliance. Services include transportation to and from most schools in the following school districts: Lowell Joint, East Whittier, Whittier City, and Los Nietos. An all-day program is offered on school holidays. The staff consists of well-trained professionals who are CPR and First-Aid certified. Healthy snacks are provided plus a homework club, arts and crafts, sports activities, and more.
