Description: JVS offers two training programs for individuals who want to start careers in healthcare, HealthWorks® and CareerWorks Medical. JVS HealthWorks® trains people to become Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) and is a first step on the career ladder in the growing healthcare industry. The JVS CareerWork$ Medical program prepares participants for non-clinical positions within the healthcare industry. JVS HealthWorks® provides intensive case management, job retention guidance and follow-up services, which has resulted in student success in a wide range of employment options including rehabilitation and assisted living facilities. Many graduates have gone on to complete advanced training in the Healthcare field. Class meets every Monday through Friday, typically from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and this is an 8-week course. CareerWork$ Medical prepares participants for non-clinical positions within the healthcare industry. This intensive program offers job training, job placement assistance and ongoing coaching for career advancement. Class meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and this is an 8-week course.
