Description: TBS is a unique one-to-one behavioral coaching service offered to youth up to age 21. TBS services are provided by trained mental health staff, under the supervision of a licensed professional, in the home, school, or community. These services are intensive and short-term and are provided as an adjunct to the youth’s primary mental health service. TBS in conjunction with a Specialty Mental Health Service can help children and youth as well as parents/caregivers, foster parents, group home staff, school staff or others to learn new ways of reducing and managing challenging behaviors as well as strategies and skills to increase the kinds of behavior that will allow children/youth to be successful in their current environment.
