  • Description: The Mountains Recreation & Conservation Authority’s Outdoor Education program provides outdoor experiences to children who have limited access and familiarity with nature. Lessons and activities are presented with an emphasis on Mediterranean ecosystem, local history, and threatened watersheds. Grades 4-6 participate in a three to five day overnight camp in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. Other grade levels can be arranged.
