• Description: The Los Angeles LGBT Center offers free testing for HIV and other STDs. In addition to their rapid HIV test (results in less than a minute), the Center uses the most accurate and reliable test available to detect HIV as early as seven days after exposure. The Center will also test for gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis—those results are available in a week. If you test positive for HIV or any other STDs, you're able to receive immediate care and treatment from the Center. The Center encourages sexually active people to get tested every three months.
