• Description: VOALA provides a one-on-one mentoring program that pairs UCLA students with youth ages 7–17 from the North Hollywood Apartments community. Mentors participate in programs with their mentees to create a network of trust and support, empower them to further discover and follow their passions, challenge them to gain a broader understanding of the world around them, inspire them to pursue higher education, and motivate them towards engagement in the community.
