  • Description: The Alliance’s NextStep Program provides a bridge for transitional-aged foster and probation youth as they strive for self-sufficiency. The Alliance focuses on current and former foster and probation youth ages 14 to 24, assisting them in knowing their legal rights. The Alliance provides free consultation and legal services including resolving identity theft, addressing credit/collections issues, reviewing contracts/leases, addressing legal problems resulting from false advertising and marketing schemes, clearing juvenile tickets, sealing juvenile records, and appealing SSI denials. The Alliance offers support and access to resources that promote self-sufficiency, including stable housing, education, employment resources and health care.
