  • Description: Provides intensive outpatient programs for adolescents and young adults with primary mental health disorders and possible co-occurring substance use challenges. The programs provide a structured, supportive environment that will teach and train health behaviors and show adolescents and young adults how to effectively regulate emotion, manage distress, and engage in healthy interpersonal relationships using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Possible concerns the program can address may include: Depression Anxiety Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Mood dysregulation Oppositional defiance Self-injurious behaviors and suicidal ideation Grief and loss Trauma Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Other symptoms relating to a mental health issueNote: High school students can receive class credits through ASPIRE.
