Inpatient Treatment: Focuses on rapid, intensive patient assessment and diagnosis, followed by treatment in close collaboration with staff, the patient, and the patient's family. Adult Psychiatric: Unit treats adults in the middle of a mental health crisis. Treatment is provided by a team of psychiatrists, therapists, and nurses. Medical Psychiatric: Unit is designed for psychiatric patients who have also been diagnosed with a severe medical illness. The medical psychiatric unit accepts patients who may be on dialysis, require wound care, or need intravenous or tube feeding.
