Description: Provides information about a property tax exemption for the home of a disabled veteran (or their spouse), who is, or has been, injured in military service. The amount of exemption will depend on the type of qualifying injury and household income. A surviving spouse may also apply for the tax exemption, if their veteran spouse died as a result of a service-related injury or disease.

Eligibility: - 18 years and older; Veterans injured in military service with a total disability (rated at 100% from the VA) such as blindness, or loss of the use of two or more limbs; Surviving spouse of a veteran, who as a result of a service-related injury or disease: 1) died while on active duty in the military service or after being discharged in other than dishonorable conditions, 2) and served in a time of war or in a time of peace in a campaign or expedition for which a medal has been issued by Congress
