CALWORKS PROGRAM, SANTIAGO CANYON COLLEGE

Description: Provides specialized assistance to students who need additional support due to financial and educational challenges. EOPS provides comprehensive academic, career, and personal counseling. It also offers Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE) to EOPS students that are single parents. Additional services include book services, academic supplies, priority registration, university transfer assistance, financial aid application assistance, and additional resources as needed.

Eligibility: - EOPS requirements: 18 years and older, Full time student (12 credits), Eligible for the BOGW (California Board of Governor's Waiver A or B), Income restrictions apply - CARE requirements: single parents, must be receiving public assistance (CalWORKs/TANF/Cash Aid) or have at least one child who receives public assistance, 18 years or older, designated single head of household.
