- Description: Provides move-in costs to families with children under the age of 18 years, who are literally homeless (i.e. living in situations not meant for human habitation, such as: in an emergency shelter or a motel paid by an agency/church). Families must have physical and legal custody of at least one child under the age of 18 years. Services include individualized case management and support services, such as: Budgeting Credit clean-up Job development Counseling Educational workshops Other supportive services.

- Eligibility: - Parents: 18 years and older; An 18-year-old may be considered a child, if they are still a high school student; Must have at least one child aged 17 years and younger; Must be without housing, living in a place not meant for human habitation; Must have full legal custody of children; Families must not be receiving Section 8; Eligibility requirements may vary based on available funding; SPIN is not able to take direct referrals. All referrals to this program are made via the Family Coordinated Entry System of Orange County.
