Description: Provides a 77-bed emergency shelter with the focus of self-sufficiency and help for men, women, couples, and families who have ties to the City of Tustin (by having lived, worked, or gone to school in the city). Eligibility is determined by Tustin Police Department. Dogs and cats are allowed at the shelter and a smoking section is also available. During intake, guests will have their picture taken and provided with an identification badge with their picture on it. The identification badge will allow guests to access only their dorms. Guests will receive a laundry bag, locker, clean clothes, hygiene kit, and a clean set of linen for their bed. Guests with pets will also receive necessary items for the care of their animal. It is required that all pets remain on a leash or in a kennel at all times. Meals, showers, and care coordination with resources to healthcare, substance abuse services, behavioral health services and housing navigation are available onsite. Each guest will agree to a care plan that helps aid their next steps. Transportation to and from essential destinations are provided. The shelter is not a walk up shelter. Guests are required to use a vehicle, bike, scooter or skateboard when entering/exiting the shelter.*Please note: people must be referred by the Tustin Police Department. No walk-ups to the shelter are allowed.
