Description: Provides a transitional, temporary homeless facility for men, women, and couples without children. Healthcare, dental, and behavioral services will be available to people staying at the Center. Referrals to community-based services will be provided as needed. The long-term goal of the Center is to provide clients with the resources they need to permanently transition off the streets. No walk-ups to the Huntington Beach Navigation Center will be allowed. The Huntington Beach Homeless Task Force provides in-person eligibility screening at the Huntington Beach Police Department.
Hours: Navigation Center: 24 hours, 7 days a week; Screening at Huntington Beach Police Department: 9:00 am-11:00 am Tuesday; 10:00 am-12:00 pm Wednesday; Closed major holidays
Eligibility: - 18 years and older, Residents with strong ties to Huntington Beach (e.g. last permanent address in Huntington Beach, children enrolled in a Huntington Beach school, employed in Huntington Beach, or graduated from Huntington Beach High School), Background check will be conducted; Men, Women, Couples, Couples without children accepted; Pets are accepted (One animal per person)
