CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, BRAILLE INSTITUTE - ORANGE COUNTY

Description: Provides age-appropriate activities to address the child's developmental and educational needs at home and virtually. Attends medical visits to support parents in their understanding of the child's visual diagnoses. Consults with infant childcare and preschool programs to encourage children's participation in activities. Attends Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and consults with the child's therapeutic providers. Children receiving services can participate in a monthly social group called "Little Dots" and receive seasonal sensory kits throughout the year.
