Eligibility: - Must be a United States citizen or resident alien; Must be 17-31 years (if 17 years old, must have parental consent); Reservists must be 17-40 years; Prior-service personnel should contact their local recruiter for specific criteria; Must have a high school diploma, General Educational Development (GED) is accepted in very rare circumstances; Must have a maximum of two dependents (such as a spouse, children, or someone dependent on the applicant for support); Must pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test; Must be medically cleared by the local Military Entrance Processing Station; Must undergo a credit check, security clearance check, and a criminal record review; Applicant will be disqualified if they have 2nd and 3rd-degree misdemeanors and/or a felony conviction
