LOW INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE - WEATHERIZATION, COMMUNITY ACTION PARTNERSHIP OF ORANGE COUNTY

Description: Provides energy upgrades and appliance repair/replacement to make a home more comfortable and help save on energy bills. The program weatherizes houses, condos, townhomes, mobile homes, and apartments. If the individual is a renter, they will need the owner's signed approval for receiving work on the house. Services include: Sealing of drafts and air leaks Attic insulation Mechanical ventilation Repair/replace the refrigerator Washing machine Dryer Air Conditioner (AC) Furnace Water heater Carbon Monoxide Detectors (CO) Smoke alarms

Eligibility: - 18 years and older, Income required, Serves Anaheim Public Utilities customers, Serves Edison customers, Serves The Gas Company customers; Must meet the 60% state median income guidelines, currently receive CalFresh/CalWORKS benefits, or applied for and have received LIHEAP benefits in the past 120 days
