RESOURCE FAMILY PROGRAM , SENECA FAMILY OF AGENCIES

Description: Provides assistance to individuals and families to become approved as "Resource Parents to open their homes and provide care to youth in foster care. Resource Parents receive comprehensive training and support throughout their time caring for youth in foster care, and receive a stipend to supplement the cost of caring for the youth in their care.

Eligibility: - Resource Parents: 25 years and older; Accepts individuals of any marital status, sexual orientation, or gender identity; Must be renters or homeowners with enough room for at least one foster youth; Must be able to pass a health and criminal background screening
