Description: Provides individual counseling services to children who have experienced or witnessed one of the following: Exposure to domestic violence Physical abuse or neglect Child sexual abuse/assault Bullying (verbal/cyber/physical) Teen dating violence Child pornography Survivors of homicide victims Driving Under the Influence (DUI)/Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) incident Hate crime Parental substance use and endangering lifestyle Human trafficking (sexual/labor) Kidnapping (custodial/non-custodial) Mass violence (domestic/international) Vehicular victimization (such as a hit and run) Robbery or burglary Arson Terrorism (domestic/international)Treatment types offered include: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is available for children between 2-10 years.
Eligibility: - 2-17 years; Children must have experienced or witnessed at least one of the following: exposure to domestic violence, physical abuse or neglect, child sexual abuse/assault, bullying (verbal/cyber/physical), teen dating violence, child pornography, survivors of homicide victims, Driving Under the Influence (DUI)/Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) incident, hate crime, parental substance use and endangering lifestyle, human trafficking (sexual/labor), kidnapping (custodial/non-custodial), mass violence (domestic/international), vehicular victimization (such as a hit and run), robbery or burglary, arson, or terrorism (domestic/international)
