  • Description: Provides a relationship-based workshop via Zoom for parents and/or caregivers who has a toddler that identifies as African American or multiracial and want to learn how to build a positive relationship with them. The workshop teaches individuals about early childhood development and provides them with the tools to improve and strengthen the parent-child relationship. They will also learn effective parenting techniques and strategies to better navigate developmental and environmental stressors that may occur within early development by an African American psychologist, who is endorsed as an Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist and Reflective Practice Facilitator II by the California Center for Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health.For additional questions about this workshop, please email us at: uciandabc@hs.uci.edu
