• Description: Provides a bilingual, culturally grounded program offers workshops and family-strengthening supports that build confidence, parenting skills, and self-sufficiency. Facilitated in English or Spanish, monthly and weekly workshops are designed by our Parent Advisory Group and led by trained educators who reflect the lived experiences of our families. Topics include communication, positive discipline, navigating school and legal systems, and emotional wellness. Parents also receive individualized resource connections to programs such as food assistance, housing support, and parenting education, often pulled from the California Community Resource Guide. Familias Fuertes creates space for reflection, learning, and connection, helping families grow stronger, together.
