Description: Responsible for ensuring legal compliance with applicable laws relating to public health issues. Protects public health and promotes well-being through the management of the following programs.
- Body Art (tattooing, permanent cosmetics, piercing)
- Food Protection Program (restaurants, retail food, mobile food, temporary event food booths)
- Food Safety Education (food safety classes)
- Liquid Waste Program (septic systems)
- Medical Waste Program (handling, disposal of sharps, and other medical waste)
- Recreational Health Program (public pools and spas)
- Small Water Systems Program (community water system, non-transient water system, state small water system)
- Water Well Program (well construction, modification, repair)
