Provides financial assistance to low-income Californians. Helps manage residential water utility costs. Ensure low-income households have access to safe and clean water. The benefit can Covers customer's past due balance for water and wastewater, current charges. Includes fees (and late fees), and taxes for a one-time maximum credit in the amount of $2,000 for either water or wastewater services. Covers utilities included in rent.
Note: Offers general services during Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) and disasters. Services are still available if a power outage occurs in this facility. Also offers emergency water, recycled water, and wastewater services only during Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) and disasters.
Eligibility: Eligibility for services can vary depending on income, household size, place of residence, and other factors.
