Description: Offers job-readiness and healthy lifestyle programs to empower women who are homeless. Teaches the skills and confidence necessary to get a job, create a healthy lifestyle, and regain a home for themselves and their children. Transportation assistance provided to help women get to the program. On-site childcare is provided. A nine-week job-readiness program with a curriculum including: Career Mentoring, Professional Development Job-Seeking Skills, Resume Building, Mock Interviews Computer Literacy: Microsoft and ServSafe certifications Specialized programs in customer service and receptionist training Support services for job retentionWomen's Health & Education referrals and resources including: Nutrition Classes Wellness and Recovery groups Mental health counseling and referrals Anger Management Groups Parenting Enrichment groups Yoga and Fitness classes Ready to Rent classes How to be a tenant and credit repair * Programs and services are inclusive of transgender women and non-binary individuals. Participants who complete and graduate from the 9-week program will receive lifetime services.
Eligibility: Single women and women with children who are homeless or at significant risk of becoming homeless. This includes single women and women with children who are couch surfing, staying with family or friends, staying in a motel or living outside or in their car, or transitioning out of prison.*Programs and services are inclusive of transgender women and non-binary individuals.
