  • Description: Intake Stabilization Unit (also known as the Crisis Stabilization Unit) is a 24-hour outpatient program that receives individuals with behavioral health conditions through referrals from community partners, Emergency Departments, Sacramento Superior Court, and Law Enforcement. Serves children and adults with mental health conditions, substance use issues, or both.Individuals receive a multidisciplinary assessment to determine if they can be stabilized and discharged or admitted to an inpatient facility for further treatment.
