Description: Offers representative payee and money management services to assist people who have demonstrated an inability to manage their benefits. For elderly and disabled people receiving Supplemental Security Income/Social Security Administration benefits, and/or veterans' benefits, and people with private resources/private pensions who require similar services.Services include: Resources and referrals for social services. Coordination with community service systems and client advocacy. Acts on the client's behalf to receive monthly benefits to pay rent and utilities, as well as expenses for food, clothing, transportation, and other critical needs. Maintains accurate information, records, and accounting. Can disburse checks on a daily basis.
