• Description: Promotes mental well-being for everyone through education, legislative advocacy, and program development.Programs include: Access California - Works to strengthen and expand local and statewide client stakeholder advocacy in California's Public Mental Health System through individual and community empowerment.California Association of Peer Professionals - a free, membership-based program that provides services and benefits to certified and non-certified behavioral health peer professionals in California. WISE (Workforce Integration Support and Education) - Offers peer support training and employment assistance, as well as support to employers of peer support professionals. Also offers the WISE U program; a free, full-service training program for individuals who are interested in the Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification. Please note that these programs do not provide individual-level advocacy or mental health services.
